Sales Specialist Internship (Recent Graduated)

Sales Interns are entry-level full time employees who work closely with sales professionals. They may be tasked with a variety of duties, including cold calling potential customers, researching their company’s products or services, and assisting with sales presentations.
Sales internships can provide valuable experience in the field of sales. However, they also require hard work and dedication to succeed.
Job Duties
Sales interns typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.
Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced preferred.
Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently.
Analytically minded and possess excellent negotiating skills to secure the best prices according to budget. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles is advantageous.
Self-starter with an analytical temperament preferred.
Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
Education
Recently graduated, preferred majors include Business, Marketing, or similar field
